👨💼 About the Role We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to work alongside the Venue Manager in driving daily operations and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.
You’ll be a key leader within a small, tight-knit team — helping to deliver smooth service across the bar, restaurant, gaming, and accommodation areas.

🧭 Your Day-to-Day
Support the Venue Manager in overseeing all operational areas — bar, gaming, restaurant, and accommodation
Lead, train, and inspire staff to deliver exceptional customer service
Manage rostering, stock control, and daily financial procedures
Take charge of venue open/close duties and ensure compliance and safety standards are met
Handle gaming payouts, cash management, and reporting
Step up and take the reins during the Venue Manager’s leave or days off
💪 What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a pub, hotel, or hospitality venue
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
A “hands-on” approach with a focus on teamwork, service, and community connection
Current QLD RSA, RSG, and Approved Manager Licence & RMLV (or willingness to obtain)
