A well-established, busy venue in remote South Australia is seeking a Duty Manager to join the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong hospitality skills who thrives in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
📍 Location: Remote South Australia
🗓️ Start Date: Immediate
💰 Package (Casual):
- $35.18 per hour Monday–Friday
- $45.89 per hour Saturday & Sunday
- Free accommodation & meals
The Role
This is a hands-on position supporting the management team with the daily operations of the venue. The successful candidate will work across all areas of the property including the bar, restaurant, gaming, accommodation, retail, and grounds. In this small, close-knit team, everyone pitches in where needed – from admin to counter service, kitchen, and housekeeping.
Duties include:
- Assisting managers with daily operations across bar, restaurant, retail, fuel, and accommodation
- Opening & closing shifts, stock control, stock takes, and merchandising
- Cash handling, safe counts, till balancing, and banking
- General administration and reporting
- Supervising, rostering & training of staff
- General bar work, including gaming machine operations
- Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing & gaming regulations
- Supporting all departments as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous remote experience highly regarded
- Strong all-round hospitality background
- Must hold or be able to obtain a South Australian Responsible Person’s Badge
- Gaming certificate (RSG1-SA) preferred, or willingness to complete prior to commencement (course cost covered for long-term candidates)
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Have own vehicle (support may be considered for the right candidate)
