General Manager – Regional Queensland

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead the operations of a well-established regional hotel, offering quality accommodation, a popular restaurant and bar, and a strong corporate and conferencing market presence.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a respected hospitality group — ideal for an energetic, approachable professional who values teamwork, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Package Includes

  • $110,000 – $120,000
  • Free onsite manager’s unit, including utilities
  • Annual Incentive plan

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth and professional service delivery.
  • Lead and inspire department heads to achieve operational, financial, and guest service targets.
  • Drive performance through effective planning, communication, and leadership.
  • Manage budgets, revenue enhancing, cost controls and reporting to meet financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant, bar, and conferencing teams to generate bookings and deliver memorable experiences.
  • Support marketing and revenue strategies to grow corporate, leisure, and event segments.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, maintaining a positive, high-performing workplace culture

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Operations Manager in a hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated success in rooms, food & beverage, and event operations.
  • A commitment to outstanding service and continuous improvement.
  • A supportive and collaborative management style.
