We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager for this busy venue located in remote Coastal Queensland.
The successful candidate will have excellent experience in managing accommodation, including hands on front office work, administration, accounts and also be willing to assist in other departments.

Package:
$70,000 – $90,000 Salary based on previous experience

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front office team
- Ensure exceptional guest service is consistently delivered & collaborate with other departments to ensure quality service and guest satisfaction
- Train and mentor front desk staff to enhance performance.
- Manage check-in, check-out and reservation processes efficiently – for FIT/Corp./Govt & Groups
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly
- Assist with general administration – accounts/invoicing & purchase orders
- Open & close of reception department, balancing end of day – EFTPOS, cash payments & banking duties for the property
- Assisting with general HR duties on-site
- Answering a Very Busy PABX
- Other duties as required by the General Manager
About You:
- You will have a passion for customer service, excellent communication and time management skills.
- You will have experience with front office PMS systems, and high attention to detail along with great personal presentation.
- Experience in a similar management position
- Strong hotel front office experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanour
Other:
- Assisting with coverage of duties in other departments of the hotel as and when required
- Observing and complying with relevant legislation, regulations and hotel policies & procedures
- Performing other related duties as requested by senior management.
