Cafe / Retail Attendant-Central Australia-Northern Territory

We are seeking experienced Cafe / Retail Attendant for this busy property located in Central Australia-Northern Territory.

This position includes working in the cafe and assisting in the retail store. Candidates may be required to undertake split shifts as part of the role. 

Being remote there is nothing to spend your money on giving you an ideal opportunity to save all of your pay whilst enjoying a laid back outback lifestyle.

Commencing: 30th March 2025
Minimum 6 month commitment 

Casual -Level 2 HIGA AWARD

  • $31.23 Monday-Friday 
  • $37.47 Saturday
  • $43.72 Sunday
  • $65.45 Public Holidays 
  • Accommodation & Meals $150 per week

Duties:

  • Working across the cafe and the retail outlet
  • Making coffees, serving food, taking meal orders, making drinks, clearing tables
  • Assist with general food prep 
  • Unpacking of stock, re-stocking fridges
  • Cleaning of the cafe areas, washing dishes if required
  • Servicing customers in the retail outlet, setting up displays, re-stocking shelves 
  • Split shifts may be required 
  • General cash handling
  • Offer excellence in customer service 
  • Assist in other departments if required 
  • Other duties as required 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ideally have own car, if not, buses are available
  • Able to live and work in a remote destination
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Bubbly, friendly and guest engaging personality 
  • Obtain and RSA and Food Handlers Certificate prior to commencement 
  • Willing to live and work in a remote destination
  • Be a team player 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Must have a food handlers certificate
  • Minimum 6 month commitment

  • Roaming WIFI available at staff cost
  • Phone box on site
  • Basic supplies can be purchased onsite 
  • Regular flights and bus transfers are available
