About The Opportunity
As Hotel Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the overall performance of the venue, ensuring daily operations run smoothly while maintaining high standards of service, compliance and presentation.
You’ll lead and develop the team, oversee staffing and operational costs, monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve business results. A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to balance people management with commercial priorities will be key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations and maintain consistent standards across all venue departments.
- Lead, train, mentor and manage staff, including rostering, performance and team development.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Monitor budgets, revenue, labour costs, stock control and overall financial performance.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency and strengthen profitability.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming regulations, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain venue presentation, facilities and operational standards.
- Build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, employees and the local community.
- Foster a professional, accountable and customer-focused team culture.
About You
You’re a capable and commercially minded hospitality leader who is comfortable taking responsibility for a busy venue and leading by example. You understand the importance of balancing customer satisfaction, team performance and financial results.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Previous management experience in a hotel, tavern, pub or multi-outlet hospitality venue.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and manage a team.
- A sound understanding of budgets, labour management, stock control and revenue generation.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
- A hands-on, adaptable approach to daily operations.
- A strong understanding of hospitality compliance, safety and licensing requirements.
- Relevant hospitality and licensing qualifications, or the ability to obtain the required Northern Territory licences.
