Outback Chef / Grill Master Wanted – Live & Work in Queensland’s True Frontier!

We’re on the hunt for a full-time Qualified Chef to join this owner-operated Outback hotel – a genuine community hub where the beer is cold, the stories are tall, and the steaks are legendary.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the Senior Chef on busy dinner services
• Running your own lunch shifts (with a kitchen hand to back you up)
• Smashing out food prep, grilling, stock rotation, and keeping the kitchen spotless
• Classic pub grub with a focus on killer steaks and hearty Outback favourites

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience in fast-paced kitchens (no beginners please)
• Lives for the grill – you can cook a perfect steak under pressure
• Thrives working solo / unsupervised when needed
• Brings a rock-solid work ethic and positive attitude
• Bonus points for previous remote / regional / outback experience

This is proper remote Queensland living:

• Sealed road access, daily bus services, and flights nearby
• Full mobile & internet coverage (Telstra)
• Basic town shops for essentials
• Wide open spaces, big skies, starry nights, and that unbeatable Outback freedom
