We’re seeking a motivated Café Assistant / All Rounder to join this friendly team in a unique remote coastal community in the Northern Territory. This is more than just a job — it’s a lifestyle opportunity.

• Takeaway outlet
• Police station
• Swimming pool & sporting facilities

You’ll be working in the town’s local store and café — a central hub of the community.
💰 What’s on Offer

• Casual Position
• $35.15 per hour (Mon–Fri)
• $42.18 per hour (Saturday)
• $49.21 per hour (Sunday)
• Overtime rates for hours over 38 per week
• Free shared accommodation (electricity approx. $40 per week)
• Return travel assistance from Darwin
• Immediate start available

🍳 Your Role


This is a hands-on, varied role perfect for someone who enjoys keeping busy:

• General kitchen hand duties
• Food preparation & basic cooking
• Serving customers
• Barista duties
• Cash handling
• Unloading & unpacking stock
• Stock rotation & fridge stocking
• General cleaning
• Providing friendly customer service
• Assisting with other duties as required

No two days are the same!
✅ What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a commercial kitchen
• Catering experience (highly regarded)
• Food Safety Certificate (essential)
• Forklift ticket (preferred)
• Ability to live and work in a remote location
• Positive attitude & strong work ethic

📌 Important Details

• Minimum 6-month commitment required
• Access via unsealed road from Darwin (dry season)
• Return airfares provided from Darwin
• Telstra is the only mobile provider with coverage
• Work available for partners
