🔧 MAINTENANCE TRADES – MULTI-SITE | NT, SA & QLD
ASAP START | LONG-TERM ONGOING ROLE | FREE ACCOMMODATION & MEALS
An exciting opportunity is available for a hands-on Maintenance Trades Multi-Site professional to join a hospitality group operating properties across Northern Territory, South Australia and Queensland. This role is ideal for someone with strong general maintenance, carpentry and property refurbishment skills who enjoys practical, varied work and is comfortable travelling between remote locations to keep multiple properties operating at their best.
The group has an established maintenance team, with dedicated trades and multi-site project employees working across ongoing renovations, upgrades and new projects. Initial work will be based in the Northern Territory, before moving between properties across the NT, SA and Queensland as required.
This is a hands-on role covering everything from motel room refurbishments and repairs through to carpentry, tiling, painting, plastering and basic plumbing. Qualified candidates may also undertake electrical work within their scope of qualification.
🔨 THE ROLE
You will be responsible for general maintenance and project work across the company’s motel and accommodation properties, including:
- Motel room upgrades and refurbishments
- Flooring and bathroom renovations
- General carpentry and repairs
- Tiling
- Painting and plastering
- Basic plumbing
- Electrical work where appropriately qualified
- Ordering equipment, materials and supplies
- General property maintenance
- Travelling between company sites as required
- Supporting renovation and new development projects
- Other maintenance duties as required
👷♂️ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a practical, reliable and adaptable maintenance professional who can work independently while also being part of a wider maintenance team.
You will need:
- Previous handyman, maintenance or trades experience
- Solid general carpentry skills
- Broad property maintenance experience
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- The flexibility to travel between multiple properties
- Your own reliable vehicle
- The ability to live and work comfortably in remote locations
- A willingness to commit to a long-term, ongoing position
Electrical qualifications are advantageous, however electrical work will only be undertaken by candidates who are appropriately qualified.
