Lead a Well-Regarded Kitchen in One of Australia’s Iconic Regional Hospitality Destinations
MLKA Hospitality Recruitment is seeking an experienced and capable Head Chef to take the lead in a highly respected hospitality venue located on the Eyre Highway in Regional South Australia.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified chef who enjoys genuine responsibility, thrives in a hands-on environment and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality meals. 💰 Package Includes
✔ $37.35 per hour Monday-Friday
✔ $40.35 per hour after 7pm Monday-Friday
✔ $44.82 per hour Saturday
✔ $52.29 per hour Sunday
✔ FREE Accommodation & Meals
✔ Private Room with Own Bathroom

🍽 The Role
As Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, leading a small team while maintaining the high food standards the venue has become known for.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
• Lead lunch and dinner service periods
• Prepare and cook quality short order and bistro-style meals
• Short-order cooking during busy service periods
• Stock control and ordering management
• Supervise and support kitchen staff
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
🌟 We’re Looking For
• Qualified Chef with previous Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior kitchen experience
• Strong bistro and high-volume service experience
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment
• Strong food quality and presentation standards
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small, supportive team
