We’re on the hunt for a Cook to join a friendly, hardworking team at a laid-back coastal venue serving up delicious bistro-style meals, ice-cold drinks, and great vibes. The town comes alive with tourists during winter and settles into an easygoing local rhythm over summer—best of both worlds.

🎣 Did we mention? It’s an AWESOME fishing destination.

📍 Location

Remote Coastal Queensland
(Accessible by road or public bus – Telstra coverage only)

🗓 Start Date

Early March 2026

💰 The Package

• $32.31/hr Monday–Friday
• $38.48/hr Saturday
• $45.24/hr Sunday
• Accommodation provided:
  • $60 per week each (couples)
  • $100 per week (single)

👩‍🍳 The Role

You’ll be hands-on in the kitchen, helping deliver quality meals in a relaxed bistro environment.

Duties include:

• Preparation and cooking of bistro-style meals
• Assisting the chefs during service
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Being a solid team player
• Pitching in with other duties as needed

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to live and work in a remote location
• A team-first attitude
• Ideally seeking someone open to a longer-term commitment
