🌴 Receptionist – Remote Northern Territory | Escape the City! 🌅
Looking to swap traffic jams for sunsets and skyscrapers for starry skies? Join this friendly team in a unique remote location that offers a true Aussie experience!
The venue includes a caravan park, comfortable cabins, and a popular on-site restaurant – all nestled within a remote but well-equipped Northern Territory community.
With a local supermarket, cafes, and sealed road access, you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips.
🗓 Start Date: 2–3 weeks
📆 Minimum Commitment: 4 months (Ongoing opportunities for the right person)
💰 Pay Rates:
- $32.31/hr Monday–Friday
- $38.77/hr Saturday
- $45.24/hr Sunday
- + Overtime after 38 hrs/week
🏠 Accommodation: Just $85/week
Donga-style single room with air-con, TV, fridge, plus access to shared bathrooms, laundry, TV room, and camp kitchen. A great setup for saving money while enjoying the outback lifestyle!
🛎️ Your Role Includes:
- Welcoming guests: Check-in/out with a smile
- Handling reservations & enquiries (phone & in-person)
- Balancing EFTPOS and cash payments
- General admin & reception duties
- Problem-solving and providing excellent customer service
- Occasionally supporting other departments as needed
- Working unsupervised and staying cool under pressure!
🔧 Requirements:
- Prior experience in a reception/admin or similar role
- Excellent written & verbal English
- Team player with strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working in hot, remote environments
- TELSTRA mobile coverage only
