All-Rounder – Remote Far North Queensland

Looking for an adventure while working in hospitality? We’re seeking an enthusiastic All-Rounder to join a small, friendly team for this off grid property located in Remote Far North Queensland.
The venue offers fuel, a café, bar, motel accommodation, and camping grounds, making it a hub for travellers exploring the region. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a team environment.
📅 Start Date: 20 April 2026
📍 Location: Remote Far North Queensland
💰 Package
- $35.18 per hour (Monday–Friday)
- $45.89 per hour (Saturday & Sunday)
- Accommodation & basic meals: $150 per week
- Bond: $200
- Private room in a shared staff house
🔧 The Role
This is a true all-rounder position, working across multiple areas of the property depending on weekly roster requirements.
Your duties may include:
Housekeeping
- Cleaning and servicing motel rooms
- Laundry duties
- Cleaning common areas
Operations
- Working across the shop, café, bar, kitchen, housekeeping and grounds
- Assisting wherever needed as part of a small team
Kitchen
- Preparing simple meals (burgers and basic menu items)
- Dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
Shop
- Operating cash registers and EFTPOS
- Fuel sales and stock handling
- Delivering excellent customer service
Bar
- Serving pre-packaged drinks
- Adhering to RSA requirements
- Keeping the bar area clean and organised
- General assistance across the property as required
👤 Candidate Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is comfortable living and working in a remote location
- Has previous hospitality experience
- Holds a current RSA and Food Handler Certificate before starting
- Is flexible and willing to work across all areas of the property
- Is a reliable team player with great communication skills
- Can commit to a minimum of 6 months
