Well Established Regional Town | Two Venues | Front-Line Leadership Role

We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to support the day-to-day operations of two busy venues in the heart of Outback Queensland.

This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated hospitality professional who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure, and leads by example.

You’ll work closely with the Venue Managers to ensure smooth operations across the bar, restaurant, bottleshop, accommodation, and gaming areas.

πŸ’° Salary: $80,000–$85,000 Salary + Super
🏠 Accommodation Provided – Shared off-site accommodation provided

πŸ’‘ The Role

  • Provide hands-on leadership across all departments
  • Supervise and support staff to deliver excellent service
  • Manage tills, cash handling, and daily reconciliations
  • Oversee stock control, assist with stock ordering and stock-takes, rostering, and venue open/close procedures
  • Maintain compliance with safety, licensing, and operational standards
  • Be flexible and willing to assist in any department as required

  • Proven hospitality leadership experience (pub, hotel, or multi-outlet venue)
  • Confident in food & beverage, accommodation, and gaming operations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Positive, approachable, and team-focused attitude
  • Hold or willing to obtain: QLD RSA, RSG, CLO, RMLV & Approved Manager Licence
