We are seeking experienced Bar Attendants for this busy venue in remote Queensland.
The ideal candidates will have previous bar & restaurant experience, with a preference for candidates with gaming skills. Candidates MUST have Australian bar experience.
The venue has gaming machines, busy public bar, restaurant and detached bottleshop.
Despite the distance from other major cities, this vibrant and sustainable coastal community offers most of the facilities and conveniences of modern living. Immediate Start
Minimum 3-6 Month Commitment
Package:
Casual Role-HIGA Level 3
- $32.25 per hour Monday-Friday
- $38.70 per hour Sat
- $45.15 per hour Sun
Accommodation-$70p/w + Evening Meal Daily
Staff kitchen available on site
Split Shifts Required
Duties:
- Working in the bar-serving drinks, cleaning bar, stocking fridges, handling gaming processing and payouts
- Working in the restaurant, taking table orders, clearing tables, making coffee for breakfast and dinner shifts
- May be required to assist in other areas if required
- Other Directions as given by the GM
Candidates Must Have:
Previous Australian Bar / Restaurant experience
Previous experience with gaming would be ideal but not essential
Cash Handling Skills required (need to be above average).
Hold a Current QLD RSA and RSG prior to commencement
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Ability to work unsupervised with time management skills
Ability to think outside the square
