We’re looking for an experienced hospitality couple to join a busy hotel in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia, with one person working across the bar and the other in the bottleshop. This is a hands-on opportunity for a reliable, energetic couple with previous Australian hospitality experience, strong customer service skills and the confidence to work efficiently in a fast-paced venue.
🍺 TWO ROLES – ONE GREAT OPPORTUNITY
The successful couple will each take responsibility for their respective area while also being willing to support the wider hotel team when required.
These are practical, customer-facing roles suited to people who are hardworking, adaptable and genuinely enjoy hospitality.
🍻 BAR ATTENDANT
You’ll be responsible for delivering friendly, efficient service while keeping the bar running smoothly.
Duties include:
- Preparing and serving drinks
- Taking food orders
- Cash handling and POS operation
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Providing excellent customer service
- Restocking fridges and cool rooms
- General bar cleaning and presentation
- Assisting across other areas of the venue as required
- Supporting the wider team during busy periods
- Other duties as required
🛒 BOTTLESHOP ATTENDANT
The bottleshop role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on retail environment and is comfortable with stock movement, merchandising and customer service.
Duties include:
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Delivering friendly and efficient customer service
- Cash handling and POS operation
- Restocking fridges and cool rooms
- Assisting with unloading deliveries and trucks
- Moving pallets using an electric pallet jack
- Setting up product displays
- Updating advertising and weekly specials
- Merchandising and maintaining presentation standards
- General cleaning
- Other duties as required
👇 ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for a couple who can hit the ground running and bring a strong work ethic to a busy regional venue.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous Australian experience in a similar bar, bottleshop or hospitality role
- A current RSA Certificate – essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to remain calm and productive under pressure
- A positive, reliable and good-natured temperament
- Strong attention to detail
- Pride in your work and presentation
- A genuine passion for hospitality
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to assist in other areas when required
- Forklift Licence highly regarded for the bottleshop position, or willingness to obtain one
A minimum 6-month commitment is required.
💰 THE PACKAGE
- Casual employment
- Monday–Friday before 7pm: $33.85 per hour
- Saturday: $40.62 per hour
- Sunday: $47.39 per hour
- Accommodation: $100 per person per week
- Own bedroom in a shared house
- Accommodation within walking distance of the venue
- 50% off meals
📍 LOCATION & ACCESS
Located in the Pilbara Region of remote Western Australia, the property is accessible by car, bus or daily flights from Perth.
