We’re seeking an enthusiastic Breakfast Cook / Bar Attendant who loves good food, great service, and working in a close-knit team. This is a unique opportunity to blend your cooking skills with bar service in a relaxed, scenic coastal setting.

🌿 The Role
Your mornings start early, crafting delicious breakfasts that set the tone for our guests’ day. Midday, you’ll transition to the bar — serving drinks, welcoming guests, and helping create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Only one role available – not suitable for couples.
💰 The Package (Full-Time with Annual Leave)
- $28.12 per hour (Monday–Friday)
- Flights paid from Cairns
- Accommodation & duty meals: $140 per week
- Shared staff house (off-site)
- Private room
- Shared living areas & bathroom
- Telstra & Optus coverage available
- Daily flights via Qantas
🍳 What You’ll Be Doing
Answering to the head chef, prep and cooking of the breakfast menu
- Preparing for the lunch and dinner service
- Cleaning of the kitchen
- Maintaining customer service standards, ensuring that customers are served in a professional and diligent manner
- Set up and open the bar
- General bar duties, making drinks, serving customers, taking food orders, unpacking of stock, cash handling
- Gaming duties
- Providing fast and efficient service
- Ensure all meals are prepared and presented in a professional manner
- Communicating effectively with customers and fellow staff
- Compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995
- Compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Previous cooking and bar experience
- Confident working independently
- Strong initiative and attention to detail
- Food Safety Certificate (essential)
- RSA / RSG (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working solo shifts (preferred)
- Minimum 6-month commitment
- Willingness to provide police clearance if requested
