We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand for this busy property located in remote Tasmania.
The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain a clean kitchen, while assisting chefs with food prep & basic cooking.
The role would suit candidates who have a love of the outdoors who are wanting to experience a peaceful, tranquil location in the pristine wilderness.
The role is a live in positions in a remote, wilderness location and therefore requires full relocation for the duration of the season. The role is not located in or near any city.
Enjoy fantastic experiences on your days off such as river cruises, nature walks, kayaking, flora & fauna and fishing in this unique location.
SUITABLE FOR WORKING HOLIDAY VISA EXTENSION.
Commence early September
Contract until early June (with possible extension)
Package:
- CASUAL ROLE
- $31.19 per hour Mon – Fri
- Weekend penalty rates
- Accommodation – Own room in a shared staff house $90 per week
- Meals are Not Provided – Cooking facilities in the house
Duties:
- Assisting the chef in the kitchen
- Food preparation, washing dishes, cleaning kitchen
- Basic cooking – larder, fryer etc
- Assist in other departments as required
- Other duties as required
Other Information:
- No Pets are permitted on site
- NO Mobile reception, Basic Internet Only
- NO Television reception
- Suitable for visa extension
