Remote Tourism Venue Manager 

Remote Outback Northern Territory

We are seeking an experienced Remote Tourism Venue Manager to lead a small team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous remote or regional hospitality management experience who is resilient, practical, and comfortable living and working in an isolated environment.

The successful applicant will be confident running day-to-day operations across the bar, accommodation, kitchen coordination, staff supervision, basic maintenance oversight, stock control, and guest relations.

This position requires someone who leads by example, can handle the challenges that come with remote operations, and enjoys being part of a hardworking, close-knit team. If you thrive in the outback, are adaptable, self-reliant, and take pride in keeping a remote venue running smoothly, then this could be the role for you.

Pay Details:

Duties:

  • Oversee the daily pub, retail and hotel operations
  • Ensure compliance with liquor licencing and all relevant legislation
  • Reconcile daily takings and manage banking
  • Recruit, roster and manage a small team
  • Oversee accommodation bookings and guest services
  • Manage stock control, ordering and fuel levels
  • Maintain venue presentation including housekeeping and grounds
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite for administration and reporting
  • Report regularly to ownership on performance, opportunities, and risks
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety legislation
  • Maintain a safe environment for staff, guests, and contractors
  • Other duties as required

Candidates Must Have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • A current drivers licence and their own transport
  • RSA
  • Food Safety Supervisors
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Practical, hands-on approach to management
  • Cooking or food service experience highly regarded
