Yard / Grounds Person – Central Australia – Remote Northern Territory 🌿

We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Yard / Grounds Person who knows their way around mowers and whipper snippers and is comfortable working in warm, remote conditions for this very remote venue located in Central Australia.
This role suits someone physically fit, self-motivated, and confident working independently while maintaining high standards across grounds and public areas. 🌞
The Role
You’ll be responsible for keeping the property neat, safe, and well-presented, including:
- Day-to-day grounds maintenance across the site
- Regular mowing and whipper snipping
- Supporting the maintenance team as needed
- Unloading deliveries and general labouring
- Pool cleaning and basic maintenance
- Cleaning of shared/public amenities and common areas
- Pitching in with other duties as required
Pay & Perks 💰
- Level 2 HIGA rates:
- Mon–Fri: $30.10/hr
- After 7pm: $32.72/hr
- Saturday: $36.12/hr
- Sunday: $42.14/hr
- Public Holidays: $60.20/hr
- 5–6 day work week
- Accommodation & meals: $150/week
- Private room with shared bathroom
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience using mowers & whipper snippers
- Good level of fitness and ability to work in hot conditions
- Ability to work independently and stay on top of tasks
- Reliable, practical, and proactive attitude
- MUST hold a drivers license
