Are you a hands-on, reliable person with experience in grounds maintenance, general property upkeep, and basic maintenance tasks?

Join a unique tourism property in Remote Tasmania, where you’ll help maintain a spectacular wilderness destination surrounded by pristine forests, rugged coastlines, and breathtaking natural landscapes while working as part of a friendly, close-knit team.

An all-rounder hospitality role is also available for a travelling partner, making this an excellent opportunity for couples looking to work together.

Package

Casual Position

• $33.05 per hour (Monday–Friday)
• $39.66 per hour (Saturday)
• $46.27 per hour (Sunday)
• Own room in a shared staff house
• Accommodation: $95 per week
• Meals not provided (fully equipped cooking facilities available)

About the Property

This well-established remote tourism property offers:

• Onsite cabins
• Small camping groups
• Restaurant
• Scenic cruises and guided tours

Your Responsibilities

• Perform general handyman and maintenance duties
• Complete rubbish collection and disposal runs
• Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of guest facilities and accommodation areas
• Carry out gardening, landscaping, and grounds maintenance
• Assist with seasonal property preparation
• Support other departments with general operational duties as required
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-presented property for guests

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping, or general property maintenance
• Practical handyman skills and the ability to complete a variety of maintenance tasks
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks
• A positive attitude and willingness to assist across different areas of the property
• Pride in maintaining high presentation standards
• The ability to thrive in a remote team environment

• Immediate start
• Work available until approximately mid-May / early June
• Hospitality all-rounder role available for a travelling partner
• No pets permitted onsite
• No mobile phone reception
• Starlink internet available
• No television reception
