🍻 VENUE MANAGER – LEAD A THRIVING REGIONAL QUEENSLAND HOTEL
💰 $95,000 – $105,000 + Super | 🏡 FREE Off-Site Accommodation
Lead a well-established venue and become part of a strong regional community
Based in Regional Queensland, we’re looking for an experienced Venue Manager with strong multi-department operations, financial management, gaming, team leadership and business development skills to take the reins of a well-established, community-focused hotel.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a busy venue, lead from the front, drive commercial performance and build strong relationships within the local community. With bar, bistro, gaming, live entertainment, functions and accommodation all under one roof, every day brings something different.
💰 THE PACKAGE
$95,000 – $105,000 Salary + Superannuation
🏡 FREE off-site accommodation
🍺 THE ROLE
As Venue Manager, you’ll take ownership of the hotel’s overall performance, with responsibility for:
- Leading, developing and motivating a diverse hospitality team
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across all departments
- Driving sales, events, functions and local business
- Managing budgets, financial reporting and cost control
- Maximising revenue and identifying new business opportunities
- Maintaining gaming, licensing, WHS and operational compliance
- Building strong relationships throughout the community
- Delivering consistently high standards of service and customer experience
- Coaching your team and creating a positive, accountable workplace culture
- Identifying opportunities to improve the venue and grow the business
👤 ABOUT YOU
You’ll be a confident and commercially minded hospitality leader who brings:
- Previous Venue Manager, Hotel Manager or senior hospitality management experience
- Strong knowledge of pub, bar, bistro and gaming operations
- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams
- Strong financial and commercial understanding, including budgets and cost control
- Experience driving sales, events and revenue growth
- The ability to build genuine relationships with customers, staff and the local community
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A hands-on, proactive management style
- The confidence to make decisions and take ownership
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering great customer experiences
QLD RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Manager, CLO & Gaming Nominee Training required, or the ability to obtain.
