Bar Attendant / All-Rounder – North West Queensland
We are seeking an experienced Bar Attendant / All-Rounder to join the team at this owner-operated hotel in North West Queensland. This is a hands-on role in a welcoming, community-focused venue where strong experience and confidence behind the bar are essential.
With a close-knit team of staff living and working on-site, you’ll be part of a supportive, family-style environment that values reliability, initiative, and professionalism.
The Role 🍻
You’ll be involved in all aspects of daily hotel operations, including:
- Working across a busy bar service
- Gaming duties (TAB & Pokies payouts)
- Stock handling, unpacking deliveries, and restocking fridges
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar area
- Assisting with housekeeping duties (a couple of mornings per week) 🧹
- Supporting other departments as needed
What We’re Looking For ⭐
- Proven bar experience in a fast-paced environment (essential)
- Confident, capable, and able to hit the ground running
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay organised under pressure
- A flexible, team-focused approach
- Remote or regional experience highly regarded
- Gaming experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Current RSA & RSG (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
The Details 💰
- Immediate start available
- Casual role under HIGA Award
- $33.38/hr (Mon–Fri)
- $40.05/hr (Saturday)
- $46.73/hr (Sunday)
