DUTY MANAGER – OUTBACK QUEENSLAND
🌵 Are you an experienced Duty Manager or senior hospitality professional with strong food & beverage, gaming and team leadership skills?
An exciting opportunity is now available to join a well-established regional hotel in Outback Queensland, offering a diverse and hands-on role within a busy country pub environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit community, leading from the front and working across a varied hotel operation. With a public bar, bistro, gaming and accommodation facilities, no two days will be the same.

💰 THE PACKAGE
$80,000 + Super
🏠 FREE onsite accommodation – Single room with shared facilities.
🍺 THE ROLE
Working closely with the management team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the hotel. This will include:
- Supervising daily hotel operations
- Leading, supporting and motivating the team on shift
- Overseeing bar and bistro operations
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Completing opening and closing procedures
- Cash handling and reconciliation
- Supporting accommodation operations
- Assisting with staff training and mentoring
- Maintaining smooth and efficient service across the venue
- Other duties as required
👤 ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or in a senior hospitality role
- Experience working in a regional or country pub environment
- Strong food & beverage and gaming experience
- Accommodation operations experience, highly regarded
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to confidently manage a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work across different areas of the venue
- Current RSA, RSG, QLD RMLV and Approved Manager, or the ability to obtain these
- A current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement
