Package
Full-Time Position – Level 3 Award (Annual Leave Included)
- $27.97 per hour (Monday-Friday)
- $34.96 per hour (Saturday)
- $41.96 per hour (Sunday)
- Accommodation: $140 per week – Own room in a shared staff house (utilities included)
- Duty meals provided
About the Role
This is a varied position combining kitchen hand duties with public area cleaning. You’ll play an important role in keeping both the kitchen and guest areas spotless while supporting the chefs during busy meal services.
Split shifts are required, generally Saturday to Wednesday, covering both lunch and dinner service.
Morning shifts include:
- Cleaning hotel public areas before service
- General cleaning duties
- Food preparation
- Food running
- Dishwashing
Evening shifts include:
- Food preparation
- Food running
- Dishwashing
- General cleaning
- End-of-day kitchen clean
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with general food preparation
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Support chefs with plating meals
- Assist with fryer duties
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen throughout service
- Complete end-of-shift kitchen cleaning
- Clean hotel common areas including bathrooms, toilets and public spaces
- Sweep, vacuum and mop floors
- Set up and pack away tables and chairs as required
- Deliver fast, efficient service to guests and colleagues
- Follow Workplace Health & Safety procedures
- Adhere to Food Safety and Hygiene regulations
- Assist across other departments when required
