- Performing general carpentry and basic plumbing repairs
- Ensuring fuel systems, safety procedures, and compliance standards are maintained
- Responding to after-hours callouts in emergency situations
- Maintaining grounds, buildings, and shared spaces to a high standard
- Managing waste disposal and general site upkeep
- Supporting site operations as directed by management
About You

You will bring:
- Proven experience in a broad maintenance role (essential)
- Hands-on experience with diesel generators (essential)
- Previous remote area experience (highly regarded)
- Background in roadhouses, stations, or similar environments (preferred)
- Basic carpentry and plumbing skills
- Forklift ticket (ideal)
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check
- Commitment to a minimum 12-month placement
The Package
- $80,000 – $85,000 salary (negotiable based on experience)
- Free accommodation and meals provided
- Private room with ensuite
- Wi-Fi available onsite
- Telstra mobile coverage
- Opportunity for employment for a partner if relocating together
Additional Information
- Own transport is required
- This is a highly remote location with limited nearby facilities, best suited to someone comfortable with an isolated lifestyle
If you’re looking for a role where your skills are genuinely relied upon and where you can take full ownership of maintenance operations in a unique environment, this position offers both challenge and reward.
