An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and energetic Café Attendant / All-Rounder to join a busy hospitality operation located in one of Central Australia’s most iconic remote destinations.
Surrounded by the spectacular landscapes of the Northern Territory’s Red Centre, this role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and thrives in guest-facing environments. We’re seeking a confident all-rounder with strong café and barista experience who can comfortably work across multiple departments while delivering exceptional customer service to travellers from around Australia and the world.
This is a diverse and rewarding role where no two days are the same. From serving coffees and assisting in the café to supporting housekeeping operations and preparing for tour groups, you’ll become an integral part of a close-knit team delivering memorable guest experiences in a truly unique location.
💰 Package & Benefits
Casual Position – Level 2 HIGA Award
✔ $32.31 per hour Monday–Friday
✔ $38.78 per hour Saturday
✔ $45.24 per hour Sunday
✔ $64.63 per hour Public Holidays

☕ The Role
This position requires a genuine hospitality all-rounder who enjoys variety and can confidently assist across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
• Working across the café, bar and function operations
• Preparing quality coffees and specialty beverages
• Taking food and beverage orders
• Serving meals and drinks to guests
• Assisting chefs with food preparation and basic cooking duties
• Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing
• Unpacking deliveries and restocking refrigerators
• Setting up and packing down morning and afternoon tea services for tour groups
• General cash handling and POS transactions
• Maintaining café presentation and cleanliness standards
• Assisting housekeeping with room servicing, bed making and common area cleaning
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
• Other duties as required
Please note: Split shifts may occasionally be required.
🌟 About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
• Strong barista and café experience
• Previous hospitality, tourism or customer service experience
• Friendly, outgoing and guest-focused personality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work across multiple departments when required
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Ability to live and work successfully in a remote location
• RSA and Food Handlers Certificate prior to commencement
