An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a busy retail and supply operation in Remote Coastal Northern Territory. We are seeking a highly organised and reliable candidate with previous warehouse, logistics, retail, or stock management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a small team while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly, and can confidently manage stock movement in a remote environment.
Located in a vibrant coastal community, the town offers supermarkets, local stores, takeaway outlets, sporting facilities, a swimming pool, and essential services. You’ll become part of a close-knit team while playing a vital role in ensuring the consistent supply and distribution of goods throughout the community.

Casual Position During Probation
- $35.15 per hour Monday–Friday
- Penalty rates applicable
- Overtime paid on all hours worked over 38 per week
- Free shared accommodation during probation
- Own room
- Electricity contribution of approximately $40 per week
- Private accommodation available upon successful completion of probation
- Travel assistance provided from Darwin return
About the Role
This is a hands-on warehouse and logistics position responsible for coordinating incoming deliveries, managing stock storage, supervising a small team, and ensuring efficient stock replenishment throughout the retail operation.
You will work closely with the Store Manager and play a key role in maintaining inventory flow, warehouse organisation, workplace safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect weekly deliveries from the barge landing using truck and forklift equipment
- Manage all warehouse operations and storage areas
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Coordinate stock movement and replenishment throughout the store
- Supervise and support a small team assisting with stock management
- Monitor and top up fuel supplies for fuel bowsers (full training provided)
- Assist with retail and store duties as required
- Ensure stock is accurately received, stored, and distributed
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, stock control, or similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to supervise and motivate a small team
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Current MR Driver’s Licence (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current Forklift Licence (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
- Retail or supermarket experience highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Commitment to a minimum 12-month term
- Comfortable living and working in a remote community environment
