All-Rounder Couple – Remote South Australia

We are seeking an enthusiastic team to join a busy, multi-faceted outback venue in Remote South Australia, where flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed are key to success.
This is an excellent opportunity for a couple who enjoy variety in their work, thrive in a hands-on environment, and are looking to become part of a supportive and close-knit team in one of Australia’s unique remote locations.
This well-established venue offers accommodation, fuel, bar, restaurant, retail shop, and caravan park facilities, servicing travellers and locals alike.
With experienced onsite management, a welcoming team culture, and minimal living expenses, it’s an ideal opportunity to save money while gaining valuable experience across multiple areas of hospitality and tourism.
Commence: ASAP
Package
- $35.18 per hour (Mon–Fri)
- $45.89 per hour (Sat–Sun)
- Accommodation and meals: $150 per week
- Private room with shared bathroom facilities
The Role
No two days are the same in this all-rounder position. You’ll work across multiple departments, assisting wherever required to ensure guests receive exceptional service and the venue operates smoothly.
Duties Include:
- Cleaning and servicing motel rooms, including bed making and bathroom cleaning
- Laundry duties and linen management
- Cleaning common areas, amenities, and public spaces
- Shop and counter service
- Cash handling and point-of-sale operations
- Preparing coffees and serving food and fuel customers
- Taking food orders and delivering meals
- Dishwashing and general kitchen support
- Food preparation and assisting the chefs
- Supporting other departments as required
About You
We’re looking for positive, reliable team players who enjoy variety and aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- Previous hospitality, customer service, housekeeping, or tourism experience
- Previous remote area experience (preferred)
- A flexible attitude and willingness to work across multiple departments
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- The ability to work well within a small team environment
- Current RSA and Food Handlers Certificate, or the ability to obtain them
- Commitment to a minimum six-month placement
